Volunteering at the Regal Theatre is a unique opportunity to be part of an amazing theatre in the heart of your local community.
We have a wide variety of exciting volunteering roles to match your specific skills or you may like to take the opportunity to learn something completely new with a friendly and supportive team.

Volunteering Opportunities
Featured Roles
Press Officer: Writing publicity and promotional materials helping to keep the theatre in the public eye.
Sound and Lighting Assistant: Assisting experienced technicians to set up and operate sound and lighting equipment for rehearsals and performances.
Front of House: Meeting and greeting audiences, taking tickets and selling programmes on the night of performances.
Other Roles
Bar: Serving refreshments on performance days.
Set Building: To join a regular team which designs, builds and paints sets for MATA company productions.
General Admin: Helping various departments with admin for ad hoc projects as and when they arise.
Get-in / Get-out Assistants as part of a team, helping visiting professional companies to unload and transport their equipment, scenery, props etc. into and out of the auditorium.
