The Regal Theatre – where performance comes alive!
A much loved part of the regional community, the Regal provides an inspirational range of diverse entertainment in its large 400 seat auditorium, which includes spaces for wheelchair users, good acoustics and a hearing loop.
The theatre bar is open during intervals and before each performance and is an ideal place to meet friends and enjoy refreshments or to relax on the balcony overlooking the town centre.
A lift provides access to the first floor bar and auditorium for people with limited mobility.
Support the Regal
The Regal receives no local, regional or central government support. Box Office revenue alone does not meet the costs of putting on over 150 quality performances a year, maintaining a 90 year old building, and being able to achieve all of our ambitions for the future.
This can only be made possible through vital additional support from individuals, trusts and foundations and community group support.
