Barnstormers THE TEMPEST By William Shakespeare
Prospero, the rightful Duke of Milan, in being usurped by his brother, Antonio, survives his expulsion and has been living on a mystical island for 15 years, with his daughter Miranda. The only  other occupants being its strange inhabitant, Caliban and the ethereal, magical spirit Ariel.
Returning from a wedding in Tunis, those responsible for his expulsion are deliberately shipwrecked, in order that Prospero can wreak his revenge. Will their suffering bring forth a resolution
for Prospero’s pain? Or will he discover that we are all – in part – responsible for our own downfalls? Will he learn that we must not only forgive the trespasses of others, but acknowledge and ultimately forgive our own failings?
Come and watch a superbly talented mix of ‘Barnstormers’ and ‘Fusion’ casts ignite the comedy and pathos in this, Shakespeare’s brilliantly metaphorical, final farewell to London, theatre and his writing.
