Dir Rebecca Miller US 2016 98 mins
At risk of being overshadowed by her father, playwright Arthur Miller, and actor husband Daniel Day-Lewis, Rebecca Miller is a top rate film director in her own right with a series of successful titles under her belt. This, her latest film, has been described as a ‘wry, intellectually agile drama’ and the most overtly comic of her films so far. It is about a young woman’s decision to take control of her own destiny when she falls in (and out of) love with a married man. Stars Greta Gerwig, Ethan Hawke and Julianne Moore.
