Minehead Panto People present THE PIED PIPER by Alan Frayn
The story is set in the rat-infested town of Hamlyn. Pippen the Piper rids the town of a plague of rats with his enchanting pipe music, but unfortunately due to an evil spell from Sour-Kraut, the evil Sorceress, all the town’s children are led away to the Magic Mountain as well. Are they lost forever? Can the sweet Fairy Strudel bring them home?

MPP present Alan Frayn’s “The Pied Piper” featuring characters like Sour-Kraut the evil Sorceress, Rat-Worst the leader of the rats with his four apprentices Squeaky, Beaky, Cheeky and Leaky, the sweet Fairy Strudel and the German sausage maker Helga, with her daft sausage stuffer son, Willie… not forgetting the comical, hopeless, idiotic rat catchers-Blatter and Splatter.
With a magical UV cave scene, a hilarious sausage making slapstick sketch, rats, pigs, and a whole lot of celebrating in the Burgomeister’s pub the “Rat and Ferret”, it’s a panto you must not miss.
