Saturday, 11th September 2021 - 7:30pm
This live concert will feature members of the Festival Orchestra, conducted by Richard Dickins, in a performance of Mozart’s glorious Serenade in B flat (Gran Partita) K 361. This wonderful piece is a work of symphonic stature but for just thirteen players.
It lasts about 50 minutes. It is a piece that has long awaited to be scheduled for the Festival and this year provides the perfect opportunity for it, allowing, as it does, the players to have plenty of space between them on stage! The slow movement will be familiar to many of you for the magical way in which it was included in the film and stage play Amadeus.
All Tickets £10.
Please note that the Box Office will need to take all the customer details to comply with Track and Trace, so that we can remain Covid-19 Compliant.
Also, we will be asking audience members to wear their masks at all times when in the theatre and continuing with using the hand gel provided.
