Waterfront Theatre Company present ‘Waterloo Sunset’, a play by Fred Owen

Joe, a struggling journalist, and his mate Terry who wants to be a pop star, get embroiled in the Chelsea set and the sleaze of 60s political life. Sound familiar? They meet up with Mandy and Julia at the Pussy Cat Club and are introduced to Ilya Petrenko from the Russian Embassy before travelling to a wild party on Lord Pastor’s estate, where thet meet Jack Pargeter, Minister of War.
Mirroring the scandals of the 1960s, this new play from Fred Owen and the talented Waterfront Company travels through some of the biggest hits of the era - Paperback Writer, Downtown, Girl You Really Got Me Now, Hit the Road Jack, Blowin’ in the Wind and many more.
