The Drawer Boy is about what happens when the city meets rural; when youth meets middle age and when the artist meets the farmer.
Based on a true story, about a group of actors who went to live in Clinton, Ontario in 1972, working on the land by day and performing their stories to the village by night. Funny and moving in equal share The Drawer Boy ends on a profoundly hopeful note that demonstrates the transforming power of storytelling. Suitable for 10+.
