Barnstormers present ‘See How They Run’, a farce by Philip King

Friday, 10th July 2009
7:30 pm

Take four vicars, a bishop, a pretty actress wife and a mysterious stranger and you’ve got the perfect mixture for a hilarious evening – with a flighty maid and a very proper spinster thrown in for good measure. But this vicar’s really a soldier; this vicar’s an intruder and this vicar’s in his underpants. And then there’s the bishop. What on earth is going on?

See How They Run takes its title from a line in the nursery rhyme Three Blind Mice and is by Philip King, a master of farce in the English-style. It contains all the elements: chases, slip ups and mistaken identities, for an evening of laughter to lift the spirits of young and old alike. Directed by Elaine Ross
