In an enchanting world of magic and mayhem Titania Queen of the Fairies, and Puck the mischievous messenger, inhabit the supernatural fairy kingdom. Bottom and his “Rude Mechanicals” present their famous play of Pyramus and Thisbe. The lovers, caught in a thrilling web of mistaken identity and confusion find their way through the forest to a joyous reconciliation.
Critics Circle Award Winning Company, Independent Ballet Wales, is led by the company’s Artistic Director and choreographer Darius James with costumes by Welsh Designer Yvonne Greenleaf. This vital young group of dancers push back the barriers of classical ballet to interpret some of the finest characters in literature.
